In this interview on a hot South African day, at the end of our Festival of Shamans, I talk about the importance of awakening the “Shaman Within” rather than projecting that potentiality on indigenous healers and medicine people. I discuss why this is important if we are to step into our power to co-create a Global Shift rooted in a way of life that is heart-open and earth-honoring.

When you feel a “Yes” come, run it by your navigational system (the heart/and body sense) to be sure it feels absolutely right.You don’t need the opinions of others. Keep listening within. Check it again and again if you need for rightness of fit. Your body knows. Once YOU “know” it, then build your life around it. Submit to its discipline.
