\"IMG_0100<\/a>Jeff Nixa JD, MDiv, CMT<\/strong> is a shamanic practitioner, writer and wilderness guide who has been active in the Crow\u2019s Nest community since 2009. He is a professional associate with Crows Nest USA certified in shamanic counseling and sacred breathwork, and has also studied with the (Harner) Foundation for Shamanic Studies, Sandra Ingerman, and shamanic healers in the Peruvian Amazon and Andes. Jeff has an active \u201cfire talk\u201d shamanic counseling practice in South Bend, IN and provides shamanic workshops, sacred breathwork and wilderness programs through his own Great Plains Guide Co. He completed three traditional vision quest weeks on S. Manitou Island in 2009-11, is an experienced wilderness backpacker, paddler and is certified in wilderness first aid through NOLS. Prior to his shamanic training Jeff worked as an attorney, a hospital chaplain and massage therapist. He continues his active integration of body, mind and spiritual health through daily zen and walking meditation, barefoot running, bicycle commuting and sea kayaking.
