A 5-Day Intensive of the Crows Nest Wounded Healer Summer School. August 4-8, 2022

The resources of Jungian wisdom and shamanic journey practice offers a powerful perspective, a psychoshamanic philosophy with a tool that can help us move beyond the edges of our limited perceptions and knowledge, and into the Great Mystery of life, invisible to the senses. This workshop offers a set of principles and of journey practices for deep self-exploration.  It can teach us how to live an impeccable life, by not going against our true nature or integrity. It teaches us how to clarify and fulfill our destiny in this life, and how to approach the challenges of life as a with Warrior focus, courage and determination. This wisdom practice can help us reduce our sense of self-importance. It increases our capacity to enter deeply into relationships with others, human, and other -than-human beings in the world. It teaches how to use the Silent Knowledge to increase our awareness beyond thinking and memory. The Jung-Shamanism synthesis offers time-tested archetypal land-marks in the unknown laid down by others, to help us explore, heal and extend consciousness. It offers an initiatory path into self-healing, which is far more powerful than having someone be the healer for you. Once learned, this wisdom practice, you can teach others self-soul recovery and healing as well.

The shamanic journey is the World’s oldest practice for cutting through the illusions and conditioned filters of our perception of the world. The aim of this Intensive is to learn and increase our journey-work skills. Shamanic journeying opens a portal of imagination that can help us travel into realms of unending possibility and find a seasonally relevant solution to a problem and bring it back as a strategy for action or as a scenario blue-print for living a more conscious and intentional life. It not only can help us access many dimensions and extend our consciousness, it can help travel into the past, find a wound, and learn to self-heal it, find a problematic belief system and create a better one. The shamanic journey is a powerful tool to help us resolve an inner conflict of opposites, by finding a way that transcends our Yes and No position while honoring the intent of both. It can help us integrate and assimilate a life crisis, a powerful psychedelic experience, or Recover and reclaim a lost part of ourselves. The shamanic journey, once learned, is a powerful tool for personal transformation and finding inner guidance and inspiration. It offers a pathway to the reclamation of your Sovereignty, as the artist and creator of your life.

In this 5-Day intensive Retreat, in the SW Michigan woodlands we will devote ourselves developing more skills with the shamanic journey, and you will receive guidance in a wide range of journeys: for a Clear Vision, for making Death and Advisor, for Self-Soul Recovery and Unburdening, for Existential Creativity, Shamanic Dreaming. We will learn how to extend the maps and portals of the three worlds of the Shaman’s Cosmos so that we can travel virtually anywhere, in any dimension we wish to explore and bring back resources to help us on our heart-path here in Middle World.
